Centennial Tree Campaign
You may also celebrate the 100th Birthday of The City of Fort Lauderdale by making a contribution to our Centennial Tree Campaign. In the lobby of the historic New River Inn, a beautiful recognition tree bears leaves of gold, silver and bronze recognizing the generous donors who have contributed to the preservation of our local heritage.
The proceeds from this campaign help fund the preservation and education efforts of the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society. You, your famiily or your business will have your name or message inscribed on a leaf and prominently displayed in honor of your contribution to our Centennial Tree.
Tree Trunk Donors: $25,000, Seagulls: $5,000, Rocks: $2,500, Gold Leaf: $1,000, Silver Leaf: $500, Bronze Leaf: $100.
