Fort Lauderdale firemen pose with their truck in front of the Southside Station, c. 1933. This ornately designed firehouse was constructed in 1925 and, although remodeled somewhat over the years, has retained its architectural character. Following the station's decommission, local attorney Reed Tolber purchased and restored the structure for his law offices.
